  • Docker Management with PAW

We run a windows shop and don’t have in house linux skills, and haven’t planned on acquiring them either.

I was disappointed to hear from IBM that they have recently ‘canned’ the idea of providing a ‘dockerless’ workspace option for their customers. So if we have an on-premise installation, we are looking at either RHEL, CentOS or windows. Seeing at though we’re running all windows, we have to install PAW on Docker.

How easy is the docker engine to manage? It feels like a retrograde step in transparency of logs and services when there is so much hidden in containers now. What is your experience in this? Do you run PAW on windows or linux? What’s your feeling about paw and its reliability and performance?
